There are approximately 3.9 billion women on this planet. Now, imagine a world where every one of these women are living the life God designed them for. We would see families restored, cities transformed, and a global ripple effect ignited by the unleashed life, joy and creativity.

This vision is what fuels the mission of Golden.

Golden is a movement catalyzing women to live into their purpose, potential and influence. We are devoted to the work of empowering women to live the life they are made for.

What does Golden look like?

At the heart of our vision is a commitment to create a vibrant community of women poised and prepared to take bold steps into their bright future. Stay tuned for citywide events, retreats, cohorts, and coaching opportunities.

In Fall 2022 we hosted our first Golden retreat on the beautiful Island of Maui. Throughout the weekend, women engaged in worship, received powerful teachings, took part in communion, and experienced the transformative power of connecting with both one another and God. The retreat ended with a poolside party, baptisms, and countless stories of personal breakthroughs and transformations. When we left Maui we knew this was just the beginning of a movement that would go far and wide.

What is the Golden life?

We believe that the Golden life is what Jesus promised when He said in John 10 that He came to bring abundant life. The Golden Life consists of the following:

    At Golden we believe that every woman is designed with a radical purpose. Her life is not an accident, and her calling is not haphazard. When we live intentionally, guided by a clear vision and well-defined goals, we unlock profound sources of joy, passion, and fulfillment.

    At Golden we are committed to helping women tap into the unlimited potential of their lives. By harnessing our gifts, discovering hidden talents, and leaning into faith, we anticipate goodness and expect miracles.

    At Golden we are confident in our call to leadership. We desire to be a faithful influence to the world around us, using our voice to inspire, motivate and bring change. We are building a legacy that will outlast us. 

The Golden Team

Founder: Ruthie Kim

Ruthie Kim is an executive coach, an ordained minister, and a member of the teaching team at Reality SF church. She is a prophetically gifted and sought-after speaker and a relentless advocate for women and girls. 

Ruthie founded Because Justice Matters, an organization building pathways to brighter futures for women and girls in urban communities. Ruthie’s passion for unlocking potential led her into the world of executive coaching, where she now specializes in working with influential leaders at key moments of transition.

  • Jessica Gracewski

    Korean by heritage, American by immigration and a Transracial Adoptee, Jessica is passionate about creating, cultivating and empowering places, spaces and people where others can encounter a curious and adventurous life with God. Jessica intentionally builds her life around courage and connection and has a passionate purpose to see others actively engaged in the ways God shapes our lives and stories - especially around watching Him redefine singleness, ethnic identity, leadership, and the power of community. Jessica spends her time as a spiritual director, minister and preacher in San Francisco. Also, when she isn't immersed in the written word, you can find her out and about in God's creation with an iced coffee searching for donuts!

  • Justine Martinez

    Justine is inspired by the goodness and wisdom of God found at the intersection of psychology, spiritual formation, creativity, and healthy rhythms. Along with her husband and her three children, she is learning to pay attention to the ways that God has designed us to function in wholeness and truth, both individually and collectively. She loves her role supporting the staff team at Because Justice Matters in their spiritual formation processes and ministry development.

  • Naomi Mbakwe

    Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, Naomi has called San Francisco home for the past 8 years. From a young age she has always loved the stage, and finds so much joy in public speaking and communicating a message to a group of people. She sees it as an honor and gift to partner with God and shepherd the energy in the room. While learning to understand and enjoy what true rest looks like, Naomi has always loved traveling abroad, staying active and drinking San Francisco’s finest coffee.
